Checking for firmware version

python: can’t open file ‘/home/pi/Desktop/GrovePi/Software/Python/grove_firmware_version_check.py’: [Errno 2] No such file or directory
Log has been saved to Desktop. Please copy it and send it by email or upload it on the forums

Are you using Raspbian For Robots? If not you most likely don’t have the grovepi installed. The installation is easy and Dexter Ind has provided a nice little tutorial.

Hi @proctrl15,

It looks like you haven’t setup your GrovePi properly, so remove the existing GrovePi-master with the command sudo rm -r /home/pi/GrovePi-master and then follow the tutorial here to setup the GrovePi software.

Please let us know if this helps,
-Shoban

That worked Thanks
The Getting Started with the GrovePi+ Starter Kit user Manual has a
different procedure than the one you had me do.

Thanks

Hi @proctrl15,

Glad that we were able to help you. Yes the user manual is a bit old, please do follow the contents on our website here, they have the recent ones.
