Grove ADC for load cell (HX711) to build a weight scaler

Hi, I’m new in GrovePi and I would like to build a weight scaler using the grove ADC for load cell (HX711) which was purchased from seeedstudio. But I didn’t find any helpful tutorials or examples in using Grove hx711 to assemble a weight scaler. And I also didn’t find usable library in the GrovePi github.

Please does anybody know how to achieve the scaling with that grove unit?

Thanks for the reply and adding additional information that I left out. The Hx711 adc is from seeed studios, I will follow up with them for any further information/support about the board/grovepi integration. I agree with your first point that using the GPIO pins is likely the easiest route as I have code that works for this already. If I don’t hear back from seeed then this is likely the best option.

Thanks a lot for replying. I have now moved the grove HX711 to the normal setting for weight scale and have it worked.

Don’t hold your breath waiting. Seeed studios is well known for their lack of support.
