2023 Raspberry Pi Is Again Everywhere

My social connections were quieted quite a bit when I “X’d” X; (Actually it was Twitter back then).

Today I noticed that the Raspberry Pi Foundation has been running a Mastedon social network instance on the Raspberry Pi since November of last year.

With a very unassuming first self-hosted post:

and they are serving 43k followers with posts about the RPi, like this one showing a box of 20 RPi 4!

With the Raspberry Pi being at the heart of the GoPiGo3, this is great news.

Maybe I’ll be able to pick up a few the next time I hit the US.

I got an email notification yesterday that the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 8 GB was back in stock at Adafruit (must have asked for that a long time ago). I just looked - all models of the RPi 4 our out of stock again.

So the supply chain issues seem far from over.
