Any plans to add lidar-lite?

I’ve been following the progress of lidar-lite on kickstarter. Is there any plans to add lidar-lite sensor for BrickPi? It would be great to have it and would come in really handy for the robot racers I’m working on. I thought about buying one and figuring out how to hook it up myself, but it would be so much nicer if it just plugged into BrickPi.

Just had to do a quick google search on that. It does look awesome! Looks like they’re shipping just now.

It has a laser though, might not be safe for classrooms and small eyes?
