Thank you very much :)! The obstacle avoidance is implemented as a separated file. It’s rather a emergency brake. I am not going to combine those two, I think. I completed all three goal that I set for myself and the rest of the time till the deadline is reserved for writing. The code is done since today, so I can finally write about it without thinking about any possible changes.

Since this whole project was only possible with the help of you guys and a lot of interesting github pages, of course I am linking the github page with all the code and information as well. Not sure If I want to publish my thesis, but maybe

Submit it for your grade and get it accepted. I’m expecting either an “A”, a 4.0, or a 5 depending on how your school grades. (all of those are top marks)
Second:
Either put it up on GitHub, or upload to MediaFire (or something similar), and give us the download link.
I do NOT expect to see it until AFTER you submit it to your professor & get your grade on it.
I absolutely agree with @cyclicalobsessive, this is an excellent effort completed in a remarkably short time.

Too => “also” or “extra”/“excessive”
- “I love you too.” (also)[1]
- “There’s too much salt in the soup.” (extra or excessive)
Two => the number “2”
They are pronounced the same.
Bad pun. My bad.
If you really want to get picky about the language usage, the correct phrase is “You are too kind.” - but that’s just being picky, everyone understood what you’re saying.
What IS your native language? Norwegian?

Dad / Grandpa jokes… I love it
My native language is german. I am from the southwest of Germany. But I have a bit of a history with the US and the english language since my grandpa was american. This was always kind of a motivation to improve my english.
As a book recommendation… I haven’t read it, but I am sure it’s amusing:
“German Men Sit Down to Pee and Other Insights into German Culture”

Then you probably remember Mark Twain’s comment that he’d rather decline two beers than one German verb!
Russian is just as much fun. It seems every time the weather changes the declination changes too.

Ausgezeichnet! Ich spreche Deutsch (ein bißchen).
When I started learning German I really enjoyed the tidbit that “You are what you eat” isn’t so much a profound statement but a play on words in German: “Man ist was man ißt” (for non-German speakers, this can also be rendered “Man ist was man isst” - both nouns pronounced the same. And “Man” here is not indicating the male, but is used in German like we might use “one” in English. So more literally “One is what one eats”.)

Getting back on topic:
I took a look at your GitHub page and “impressive” is a masterpiece of understatement.
The organization and layout of the graphics and the various sections is superb - and I’ve done technical writing. I don’t know this for a fact, but I suspect that your repository is going to be a part of your thesis, or at least a reference within it. (P.S. Are you writing your thesis in German or English?)
I’m really looking forward to how it works out.

I’ve even gotten courageous and created a new branch for some experimental work I’m doing that may, or may not, work - without trashing the main branch.

It’s entirely up to you, but looking at the way he raced around that track at top speed, (), I’d name him “Speedy”.
Reference:
There was a film awhile back called The Swan Princess where a princess is turned into a swan until she decides to marry the evil character in the movie.
At the pond where she’s kept, she meets two characters, Jacques the frog who is convinced he’s a prince and “Speed” the turtle who spends the entire movie moving around at sloth-speed.
Except. . . .
At the end of the movie, something important has fallen into the moat surrounding a palace - infested with alligators - and the turtle jumps in to save it. Surprise! When swimming underwater that turtle is a speed daemon and easily outpaces the alligators and rescues whatever it was that fell in.
Of course, where alligators came from in a European castle, and how they survive the winter, was just glossed over. . .
