Hey, I was just wondering if there is a known estimate on when the C and Python libraries will be ready? Talking directly to the shields/pins was a huge reason I backed this project and am looking forward for when I can do that.
Personally I like to work in C, so I’m more interested in those libraries first
Hey Bleem313, we were just talking about that. We’re rolling up our sleeves as we speak . . .
How we imagine it looking for the Arduberry: examples for serial communication between the Arduino chip on the Arduberry and the Raspberry Pi. We can show how to do this in both C and Python. For each shield you use you’ll need to write an Arduino program to access the data or control the shield; we’ll show you the example code for sending that data though to the Raspberry Pi.
Let us know what you think, and we’ll do our best to write a good guide.
