Changing GPS Shield Read Rate (Hz)

How do I change the default GPS read rate of the GPS shield? I would like to kick it up to 8 or 10 Hertz.

We’ve never tried this so we don’t have any example of how to do it. However, the manufacturer has published this: http://dexterindustries.com/files/AN0003_v1.4.8.pdf

Which we have on our main GPS site. Just skimming this, I’m not sure if there’s information on how to change the update rate. We’ll contact the manufacturer and see if we can get more information though.
