Dry-Reed Relay Problem

Hi,

I have a quick question regarding the Dry Reed Relay http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/Grove_-_Dry-Reed_Relay

Is this relay an output only sensor or can it be used in Input (NO) mode?

By that I mean, can it detect the closure of a circuit, for example the opening and closing of a magnetic door contact connected to J2?

Hi Dave,
The Dry read relay is an output only device that can only be sent signals to turn it on/off.
