Googley eyes for distance sensor - where do they go?

Our guess is that they go over the black circles on the sensor, but we’re worried that those are needed for sensing the laser reflection.

Just wanted to get some assurance before we do something stupid.

Hi @rexmagoo,

They can go fine on the black circles.
The sensor is actually located in the very center. What you’re seeing as black circles can be considered as a “X cross marks the spot”-kind-of-thing for the googly eyes.

Thank you!

How should the googly eyes attach to the distance sensor? I expected they would have adhesive backing but I see they do not. What is recommended?

I just fold a piece of tape in a loop.
