GoPiGo doesn't boot (green light blinks indefinitely)

Hello,

I am using the GoPiGo, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and a SanDisk 16GB MicroSD card. Using my Mac I installed Etcher and downloaded the DexterOS zip file. I uncompressed the DexterOS zip file and wrote the image using Etcher to the SD card.

However, when I switch on the GoPiGo, the green link blinks indefinitely and does not turn solid. When I plug a monitor into the HDMI port on the Raspberry Pi there is no signal.

What should I try next?

How is the raspberry pi powered? Through the GoPiGo, or through the microusb port on the Pi?

If you can test the raspberry pi with direct power and with the HDMI monitor, that would be a good test to do. Note that the HDMI monitor must be connected before you power the Pi, otherwise the Pi will just ignore it if done in the reverse order.
