This does not work for me.
I can however get the pi to move backwards using
cmd: k
or
cmd: s
if i type
cmd: i
the gopigo just moves in a circle.
if i type
cmd: f
it displays: v 1.1
does this mean i need to update my firmwre?
Are you using the Raspberry Pi V2?

Anyways, it sounds like your motors are moving, which is a good thing! Have you tried reversing one of the motors wires? That should get it to move in a straight line.
Do both of the motors respond when you type “w”?
