GoPiGo2 to PI minimal pin connection

Hey,
I want to use breadboard jumper wires to connect the gopigo2 to a raspberry pi. I want to use the power sources of the gopigo. Which pins do i need to connect? If i look at the rasberry pi pinout.

  • 3 and 5 for i2c
  • 6 ground
  • 2 5v power
  • 8 and 10 for the serial interface

Am I required to connect more pins? Both 5v power pins? Pin 1 for 3V?

If you only want to pass 5v power from the GPG2 to the RPi, and you don’t need a data connection between them, you can just connect pin 2 to pin 2 (5v supply), and pin 6 to pin 6 (ground).
