I2cdetect -y 1 shows 08 instead of 04

Hi,

I am having an issue after setting up the pi and connecting the grovepi, when I run i2cdetect -y 1 it shows it connected at “08” not “04”. I reinstalled and ran the i2c tools and made sure the i2c was set. I have tried both Dexter Industries images and noobs with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

I updated the firmware and my light is blinking. Never so happy to see a blinking light!

Is the problems solved for you and if so any ideas what might have been causing it.

When I installed the SD image from Dexter I updated what I think was the GoPIGo app by clicking the desktop icon. I believe that is what changed the “04” I was originally getting to an “08”, when I updated the firmware it corrected it. That is my best guess…

My apologies,

I clicked the DI Software Update icon on the Dexter Lab sd image desktop, I think that is what switched my “04” to an “08”.
