Infrared receiver/emitter with GrovePi

do these also work with GrovePi or do i need an Arduino for them?

Those should work with the GrovePi! They are Grove sensors.

Did you by any chance come across any code that could be used with them?
What i’m trying to do is control my ACs from a web interface, but so far i only found code for Arduino.

I would also like to use the infrared receiver to control my robot with the TV remote. Right now I do the IR stuff with an Arduino and send the results via USB Serial connection to the BrickPi for controlling the motors. Directly connecting the IR receiver to the GrovePi would make the setup much easier. :slight_smile:

There’s other modules like RF or GPS that also need a serial connection so supporting this class of sensors would definitely be an advantage.
