Powering Other Things With PivotPi

I am using a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and for a project am looking to be able to use the Pi to both allow control of some simple lights (previously done through turning on and off pins via GPIO) and also rotate an object using the PivotPi.

However it seems that the bottom pins can’t be used whilst the PivotPi is attatched so I was wondering if there is some way to be able to create the simple on/off dynamic using the pins on the PivotPi.

Hello @jameslees
If you need access to the GPIO pins, your safest bet would be to remove the PivotPi from the pins and connect it via male-female wires.
Or you could use a breakout board. This one from Pimoroni is brand new There’s this one too
