Question regarding GPS above Altitude Limitation

Hello. The specifications for the GPS Shield for the Arduino says the shield has an operational limit of 18,000 m in altitude. What happens if the GPS, while tracking, goes above the altitude of 18,000 m and then comes back down underneath 18,000 m?

Would the GPS restart its data collection once it comes low enough?

Hey @rogeryao1024, yes, once the GPS For Arduino Shield is down below the altitude ceiling, it should pickup the signal and begin to report back an accurate altitude again. Hope this helps!
