When I connect the batteries to the raspberry pi to have the robot move in the room, it goes off and I cannot make it start again. However if I use my cellphone battery charger to power up to Raspberry Pi it works well.
Yes the voltage is 10.5V and I’m using alkaline batteries as well as rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and it does the same thing. While the Pi is sending commands to the robot to move I see in the screen the following message: IOError and after a little bit it goes off; after that it tries to boot up again but it cannot get past the 4 color screen shown at the beginnig when booting up.
