Save WiFi Config

I have just built the GoPiGo and setup the Raspbian for Robots (Jesse 2016.05.16).

I have logged into the system using VNC and successfully setup the Wifi. I am able to get an IP from my local network and ping out.

The problem is that as soon as I reboot, the settings disappear.

I checked the /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf file after I had connected to my network, and the SSID etc of my network appeaered in it. But as soon as I reboot the file resets again.

Please advise!

Hi,
I have never seen that one before, but let’s try to figure this out.
check if there’s a wpa_supplicant.conf in the /boot directory
With the latest changes that the Raspberry Pi Foundation did to Jessie, there might be an issue with this. For now, it’s the only thing that comes to mind.

Hi CleoQc,

Thanks for the response. I have not had a chance to check this out yet, will try it over the coming weekend.

Can you or anybody else let me know where I can find the older versions of Raspian for Robots? I cant seem to find this anywhere.

Thanks!

Hi Ankur,
You can find all the older versions of the Raspbian for Robots image on sourceforge. Here’s the link to the Archive: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dexterindustriesraspbianflavor/files/Archive/.
