We are trying to use a Raspberry Pi V2 to take in volume and frequency and covert that to brightness and color for an LED board. We understand the loudness sensor will get us volume, but will the sound sensor allow us to read in the frequency and volume? If not, is there any way to read in frequency?
Hey EPSquad, unfortunately the sound sensor really only measures loudness or volume. I don’t know if theres’ a good way to read these things on the Pi outside of the microphone (built in on the 2 and B+). Which is probably the most efficient way, hardware wise, to read sound.
