Using GoPiGo with 4 motors and 4 wheels

Hi,

Does the GoPiGo board support 4 motors? If so, does Dexter Industries sell additional motors that I can buy separately? If not, are there recommendations on which motors to buy?

I am also looking to convert the chassis into a 4 wheel chassis for added stability and traction needed for a robotics project. Can I buy additional wheels etc. to do that? I need to decided on this in the next day or two at most. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi @contactvega,

GoPiGo board supports only two wheels. You cannot connect 4 wheels to GoPiGo as the motor driver provides sufficient current only for two. To have four connected you will have to look out for an I2C motor driver which will allow you to connect to 4 motors.
