Using Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to control the GpPiGo

My son just build the GoPiGo (with my help) and everything works fine, connected to home wifi and controlled with a win 10 desktop.
He wants to take it to school but he has a Android Galaxy Tab 2 and when we try the dex.local it will not connect to the robot.
It is possible to connect both as a stand alone unit? We load the bonjour on the PC, is there something like that for android?

Hey Alex, indeed there is! you can try out our Cinch operating system: this will allow you to tether directly between devices over wifi. You can see a little more here: http://www.dexterindustries.com/raspberry-pi-robot-software/

Scroll down to the section on Cinch and you should be able to connect over wifi (tether).
