What's the password of your SD card?

I bought a SD card from Dexter Industries. When I boot up my raspberry pi, it asks to login in. I just typed the normal username as pi, but it say the “unable to determine your tty name”. So what’s the password and username?

Hey Connor, the username is “pi” and the password is “raspberry”.

Hope that helps!

John, that’s what I thought and it’s the normal username and password, however, it gives me this “unable to determine your tty name” once I type in pi as the username. Any idea how can I fix it?

This probably indicates that the SD card has been corrupted. This can happen when the power is cycled quickly, or maybe static discharge.

Your fastest option is to burn a new SD Card with our Raspbian for Robots image: http://www.dexterindustries.com/BrickPi/getting-started/pi-prep/
