Wifi dongle and Pi3[SOLVED]

Hi I am new to everything and don’t know much.
Given the new raspberry pi 3 has on board wifi, why do I need a wifi dongle for my GoPiGo2 base kit?

With the RPi 3, you don’t need the wifi dongle. I’m using one now, it works fine with no changes.

You only need the wifi dongle if you’re using a RPi 2 or earlier.
