Common font type is ambiguous for programming purposes

The font type used in this forum for standard text is ambiguous for programming purposes:
l and I look quite the same:

l (lower case L)
I (upper case i)

l (lower case L)
I (upper case i)

as this forum is mainly for programming questions and issues, a more suitabe font type would be very much appreciated, e.g. a Serif font like Times/Roman/Antiqua instead of a Sans-serif type like Helvetica/Arial/Gothic.

@HaWe,
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll discuss this with our team and check if there is an easy way to change the font and if that would be an improvement on the user experience side over the long term.
