how to disable Email notifications to topics generally, to never ever get an Email for all future?
Go to your account by clicking on your icon in the top right corner.
Then click on Preferences
You can disable all emails from there.

were you not able to find the email preferences at all or were not able to make it work. It should look like the page shown here and the options are also explained there a bit. There is this post that is a bit helpful too.
no I can’t find it where to adjust. (This whole entire forum software is really a desaster and it’s absolutely no fun to work with!)
open email and click on the mail which you do not want to see in your mailbox .after this click on the unsubscribed option and you will no longer see the mail in your inbox.
