Hello. I’m a kickstarter backer for the BrickPi, but it has been collecting dust since I got it. I’m now ready to use it.
How do I know if I got an “advanced power management” BrickPi, or not? Is there a visual check I can do? As a Kickstarter, I was supposed to receive the “POWER-UPGRADE + BRICKPI + CASE”

Hello CleoQc, thanks for backing our Kickstarter.
Here’s a picture of the BrickPi Advanced - http://www.dexterindustries.com/site/?product=brickpi-advanced-for-raspberry-pi#prettyPhoto[product-gallery]/4/
You should see that part in the front that says “104NL” - that inductor should be there on the Advanced model.

Thanks I had already checked that, but the 104NL also shows on the basic BrickPi pictured on your website

That’s our mistake. If Basic does not have a 104NL on it. In other words, if you have a 104NL on your board, you have an advanced board.

Ok, I have a 104NL… So I have the power one. I was confused because of the pictures on the website.
