Hi,
I have BrickPi v2.8 board. will new SD card image (Brickpi3) works on v2.8 board?
if not; where can I download old image for my SD card?
You have the “Original BrickPi” hence my suggestion for setup
What “new SD card image” do you have?
What operating system is it made from?
SD image I am using is :
2019.04.05_Raspbian_For_Robots_by_Dexter_Industries_Stretch.zip
from https://www.dexterindustries.com/download/r4r_stretch
I burned it to SD with “Raspberry Pi Imager v1.7.2” on Mac system.
That should work. . . .
One thing that you can try is this:
On the desktop there should be an “update software” link, (or something like that ), to update the Dexter libraries.
Run that and make sure it recognizes you as a Brick Pi, (If it doesn’t, select “Brick Pi”), then let it refresh the software and libraries.
After that is done, go to sudo raspi-config
select interfaces, and make sure things like SPI, i2c, serial, are enabled.
Note: I don’t have a Brick Pi, and it’s been a while since I’ve used Raspbian For Robots, but this should be close if not correct.
@cleoqc, can you remind us what interfaces should be enabled?
@zamiruddin.faisal,
After making any adjustments in raspi-config, you must reboot your 'bot for the changes to work.
Let us know what happens.
