I connected my raspberry pi b+ (with the microsd load with the image from you) to a monitor and to a keyboard & mouse. After a successful booting process, I see a login prompt like:
Raspbian GNU/Linux 7 (none) tty1
(none) login:
I tried to use pi as the login name, but I get this error:
Unable to determine your tty name.
What is wrong?
I also tried to connect my raspberry pi b+ to the residential gateway, but I cannot connect to it using putty with the hostname of raspberrypi.
