Raspbian Jessie

I already have Raspbian Jessie with OpenCV installed on it which took a lot of time and effort to do, so i was wondering if it is possible to follow these instructions (http://www.dexterindustries.com/BrickPi/getting-started/pi-prep/) with “Modify your own image” on the Raspbian Jessie OS?

Would they work? Would there be any obvious issues that i may encounter?

You can give it a shot, we haven’t tried it. The crucial thing to have installed from the OS point of view is that serial communications are enabled and operating. Hope that helps!
