SD Card too small

For some reason, my 4 GB SD card is showing that it does not have enough space available to burn the Raspian image. I attached an image below of what I see when I plug in the SD card. I got the SD card straight out of the box from the BrickPi starter kit and have not tried to do anything with it other than put the Raspian image on it.

The SD card is partitioned and only one of those partitions is visible by Windows or Mac. What is shown here is the size of the boot partition, and it’s the right size. The rest of the SD card is unreadable by Windows. (I’m not sure about Mac but I think it’s also unreadable there too)
