which frequency uses brickPi3 for motor pwm?
The BrickPi3 motor PWM frequency is 20kHz. Fast enough to be above human hearing range (for the most part), and slow enough to not lose much power due to switching times (at very high speeds, H-Bridges lose some of their potential due to the time it takes to switch signals). Usually 20-50kHz is a good “sweet spot” for motor PWM frequency.
yes, 20kHz is fine, I was just curious because of further electronical processing of this signal, thank you!

In general, I don’t think it’s a good idea to always close a topic after once an answer had been given, just in case someone else might have additional questions or different follow-up-questions should arise once in the future.
Perhaps you can apply a “solved” tag, but don’t close it then!
Closing topics is only advised if a discussion is becoming off-topic, insulting, or offending.

Hi @HaWe,
I see your point.
We’ll think about it and if it’s required, we’ll come with a notice.
Thank you!
