I would like to know if the BrickPi or BrickPi+ are compatible with Raspberry Pi Model 2B. Note this concerns the 2B e.g. the latest Raspberry Pi (Model 2B).
I red in another thread about the case not fitting but the main question is whether the BrickPi can be connected and operated with the Raspberry Pi Model 2B.
Hey Alfred, do you mean the Raspberry Pi 2? I’m not aware of a “2B” model, maybe you can send a link?
The BrickPi+ fits with all models of the Raspberry Pi.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes I mean the Raspberry Pi 2 and yes there is a Model B. Some resellers get the denominators mixed up.
It replaced the original Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/model-b-plus/), for more information see: https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-2-model-b/
One final question, Will there be a new revision of the BrickPi+ hardware soon?
The BrickPi+ works with the Raspberry Pi2.
No hardware revisions of the BrickPi+ are planned any time soon!
