Which software for a Pi2 and BrickPy+?

Which image should I use to flash a micro-SD to boot an old Raspberry Pi2 with BrickPy+?

I have tried with this, which doesn’t list the BrickPy+, and while the system boots successfully, when I try to open the Scratch examples or click “Demo Hardware” nothing happens. Also, I noted that in the “Test and Troubleshoot” the BrickPy+ is not listed.

Is Pi2 + BrickPi+ still supported at all?

There is a comment at the bottom of the announcement for the Buster experimental version:

The original BrickPi and the BrickPi+ were removed a couple of years ago, when we moved to Stretch. Again, they can be manually installed if needed:
